We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst - Workday to support enterprise operations and strategic projects, focusing on Workday HCM and Compensation modules. This role involves system configuration, process optimization and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure effective business solutions.
Responsibilities
- Define and configure business processes within the Workday instance
- Review and edit notifications based on revised processes or business needs
- Handle role-based security including role assignments and assess impacts of organizational changes
- Assist with triaging incoming queries and determine appropriate follow-up actions
- Address security tickets and reorganization requests promptly and efficiently
- Work closely with teams to understand module functionality and support business requirements
- Participate in scheduled and ad hoc meetings to contribute to project deliverables
- Conduct peer reviews to ensure system changes meet business requirements and resolve system issues
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure system consistency and provide user training or documentation
- Write clear, concise and comprehensive documentation for business and technical processes
- Validate requests against organizational functioning and make appropriate decisions
Requirements
- 6-9 years of experience in business analysis, requirement gathering, BRD, FRD and stakeholder management
- Background in Workday HCM and Workday Security
- Experience with configuring Workday HCM core and security
- Talent acquisition experience
- Familiarity with Jira and Atlassian tools
- Excellent ability to understand, design and manage complex business and technical processes
- Proven resourcefulness in clarifying complex requests through platforms like the Workday community
- Strong communication and team collaboration skills
- Capability to work remotely from India with availability during overlapping US East Coast hours
