Senior Business Analyst

Position :- Pune, Hyderabad, Remote

Experience :- 5 to 8 Years

Contract tenure :- 6 Months

The Senior Business Analyst, Logistics, will play a critical role. This role is responsible for delivering technical and process solutions in the integration area with a primary focus on Customer EDI and Supplier Logistic integrations. A successful candidate will possess strong problem-solving skills, an analytical and data-driven mindset, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced supply chain environment.

This role requires a professional with high accountability, technical acumen and process expertise who thrives on owning outcomes from design to delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with Customer Service, Logistics and 3 rd Party stakeholders to understand business needs, processes, and challenges.

Documentation of current and to-be business processes including high-level system landscape documentation (using visual tools such as Visio).

Scoping and initial design of requirements for the development of potential data integrations, to support operational and strategic processes.

Analyse, define and document business requirements, ensuring alignment between technology capabilities and business outcomes.

Scoping of requirements for data processing jobs using appropriate technologies (e.g. SAP ECC, EDI-Edifact), API's).

Identify data quality issues, inconsistencies, and gaps across logistics datasets for business teams to resolve.

Deliver high-quality business and technical documentation, including business process maps, user stories, and technical specifications.

Lead or contribute to integration implementations and enhancements, ensuring system configurations support business requirements.

Actively manage project timelines, dependencies, risks, and deliverables; proactively engage with stakeholders to resolve issues.

Support testing activities including system integration, UAT, and training to ensure successful solution adoption.

Partners with cross-functional teams (e.g. supply chain, data, tech) to integrate new capabilities and maintain data integrity.

Partner with multi-cultural global technical teams to deliver technical solutions Industry Experience

Strong experience with SAP ECC, Edifact EDI and APIs highly regarded

Demonstrated experience with data analysis, business process mapping, and integration solutions

Experience working in hybrid and waterfall delivery models Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role. Education

BA foundation certification (BABOK, CBAP or similar) preferred. Appropriate Tertiary qualifications and experience specific to the role. Tertiary qualifications in Business, IT, Supply Chain or related discipline preferred
