Job Description

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
  • Conduct requirement workshops, stakeholder interviews, and discovery sessions to understand business processes and system needs.
  • Translate business requirements into functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria for Salesforce implementations.
  • Analyze and document current-state (As-Is) and future-state (To-Be) business processes using process flow diagrams and documentation.
  • Work with Salesforce developers and architects to ensure the functional feasibility of requirements.
  • Configure and validate Salesforce components (objects, fields, workflows, validation rules, reports).
  • Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) by preparing test scenarios, validating business requirements, and coordinating with business users.
  • Ensure data integrity, governance, and compliance within Salesforce implementations.
  • Assist in data migration validation, data mapping, and integration requirement documentation.
  • Maintain project documentation including BRD (Business Requirement Document), FRD (Functional Requirement Document), process flows, and user stories.
  • Create and manage test plans, test scenarios, and test cases.
  • Perform functional, integration, system, and regression testing for Salesforce applications.
  • Validate Salesforce functionalities including Standard and Custom Objects, Fields, Page Layouts, Validation Rules, and automation using Salesforce Flow (Flow Builder).
  • Test Lightning components, Apex functionality, and Visualforce pages.
  • Perform data validation and data integrity testing.
  • Validate integrations with external systems (APIs, middleware, ETL tools).
  • Execute end-to-end testing across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or other modules.
  • Log, track, and manage defects using tools like JIRA.
  • Support and coordinate UAT cycles and release validation.
  • Ensure quality of deployments, configuration changes, and metadata updates.
  • Maintain QA documentation including test results and defect reports.
  • Use AI-powered tools for requirement analysis, test case and data generation, test optimization, and AI-assisted defect analysis to improve quality and resolution time.
  • Ensure delivery with a focus on speed, clarity, and quality by effectively leveraging AI support.
  • Actively adopt AI-driven practices and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst working on Salesforce projects.
  • Salesforce Certified Platform Administrator certification.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce core functionalities including:
    • Standard & Custom Objects
    • Fields, Page Layouts, Record Types
    • Validation Rules
    • Salesforce Flow (Flow Builder)
    • Reports and Dashboards
  • Experience in requirement gathering, business analysis, and documentation.
  • Experience creating and managing:
    • BRD (Business Requirement Documents)
    • FRD (Functional Requirement Documents)
    • User Stories and Acceptance Criteria
    • Process Flow Diagrams
  • Experience facilitating requirement workshops and stakeholder discussions.
  • Good understanding of Salesforce Sales Cloud / Service Cloud capabilities.
  • Experience supporting UAT planning, test scenarios, and defect validation.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into functional Salesforce solutions.
  • Familiarity with Agile / Scrum project delivery methodology.
  • Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, or similar tools for requirement management, user story creation, backlog tracking, and documentation.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Hands-on experience in AI prompt writing and effective use of AI tools to drive productivity improvement.

  • Experience working with Salesforce Commerce, Marketing integrations, or third-party platforms.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce release management and deployment processes.
  • Experience supporting cross-functional digital commerce platforms integrated with Salesforce.
  • Experience in functional testing of Salesforce applications.
  • Experience with UAT support, test scenario creation, and defect validation.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce AI capabilities such as Salesforce Einstein, Agentforce, or other AI-driven features within the Salesforce ecosystem.
