What Do We Expect From You
We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join our Product Management team. In this role, you will drive the identification and implementation of innovative technology solutions to enhance our Workflow automation and Asset Lifecycle Management tool. You will collaborate with stakeholders across the organization, including product managers, UI/UX designers, engineers, and process owners, to gather requirements, design solutions, and ensure successful product delivery. The ideal candidate will have a development background, comprehensive technical understanding of the Products worked for and in-depth hands-on experience with enterprise software on Data Center deployment and asset management. Strong experience in leveraging emerging technologies, including AI, to address complex challenges, would be a plus.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Requirements Gathering & Analysis: Identify, analyze, and document business requirements from business owners and process teams, focusing on opportunities to leverage technology for process automation, predictive analytics, and improved decision-making. Translate these requirements into clear, concise, and actionable user stories.
- Innovative Solution Design & Prototyping: Design wireframes and prototypes that demonstrate technology-driven features and functionalities. Develop a deep understanding of user needs and translate them into effective product functionalities that leverage data and intelligent systems.
- Collaboration & Communication: Work collaboratively with product managers, UI/UX designers, data scientists, and engineering teams throughout the product development lifecycle. Act as a liaison between technical teams and end-users, ensuring clear communication and shared understanding of technology concepts and their application to construction challenges.
- Agile Development: Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Maintain a well-groomed product backlog in JIRA, prioritizing features that deliver maximum business value.
- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and technical specifications, using Confluence.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance existing processes and workflows through technology-powered solutions. Develop and implement solutions to streamline operations, enhance efficiency, and reduce costs.
- Industry Knowledge: Stay current on industry trends and best practices, particularly in construction/site/fiber rollout process technology, project management, and emerging technologies.
- Data Analysis: Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can inform product decisions and improve the performance of technology solutions
Qualifications
- 5-8 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in a technology-driven environment.
- Proven experience gathering requirements, designing solutions, and writing user stories.
- Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
- Proficiency in JIRA and Confluence.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Experience working with high-volume project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Jira Portfolio).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Data Center deploymentand asset management software (e.g. Bentley Systems, FNT, Sitetracker, Sunbird DCIM).
- Understanding of data analytics concepts and applications.
- Familiarity with AI concepts and their potential applications in the project management tool.
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Knowledge of Camunda BPMN and XML editors.
