Job Purpose
The Post Sales Business Analyst role is responsible for ensuring smooth transition from sales to delivery by leading requirement analysis, documentation, stakeholder coordination, and solution alignment. The role plays a critical part in meeting client expectations, supporting delivery teams, and contributing to successful project execution and customer satisfaction.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES / KRAs
- Requirement Analysis & Documentation
Expected Outcomes:
- Lead and contribute to detailed requirement gathering from clients during post-sales and project initiation phases
- Prepare BRD, FRD, user stories, workflows, wireframes, and functional specifications
- Ensure clarity, completeness, and sign-off of requirements from all stakeholders
- Client & Stakeholder Management
Expected Outcomes:
- Act as a key point of contact between clients, sales, and delivery teams
- Manage expectation alignment, scope clarity, and change requests effectively
- Support pre-delivery discussions to ensure feasibility, timelines, and cost alignment
- Delivery Support & Solution Alignment
Expected Outcomes:
- Work closely with technical, QA, and project management teams to ensure requirements are well understood
- Support sprint planning, backlog grooming, UAT coordination, and clarifications during development
- Ensure final delivery meets agreed scope, quality standards, and client expectations.

Qualifications And Experience Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or related field
- 5-6 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in IT services / post-sales environment
- Experience working with global clients and cross-functional teams
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies is preferred
Knowledge / Skills / Attributes
Knowledge & Skills:
- Strong requirement gathering, documentation, and analytical skills
- Excellent understanding of SDLC, Agile, and project delivery models
- Proficiency in tools such as Jira, Confluence, MS Visio, MS Excel, etc.
- Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements
