Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst with strong domain expertise in Collections & Recoveries to support our Collections Management solutions. The role requires a techno-functional professional who can drive pre-sales engagements, lead client demonstrations, support RFP/RFI responses, conduct gap analysis, and collaborate with product teams to enhance and build scalable collections solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead product demonstrations, client workshops, and solution presentations for Collections platforms.
- Drive pre-sales support including RFP, RFI, RFQ responses, SOW preparation, solution decks, and effort estimations.
- Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Retail & Corporate Collections processes including early, mid, and late-stage recoveries.
- Conduct detailed requirement gathering sessions and perform fit-gap analysis against product capabilities.
- Prepare Functional Specification Documents (FSD), Business Requirement Documents (BRD), user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Design process workflows, wireframes, and screen mock-ups aligned with BPM best practices.
- Support Proof of Concepts (POCs) and pilot implementations for prospective clients.
- Collaborate with Product Management and Engineering teams to translate business needs into scalable product features.
- Provide domain advisory on regulatory compliance, operational optimization, and collections strategy.
- Support implementation teams during solution rollout, UAT cycles, and production go-live.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in BFSI domain with strong exposure to Collections & Recoveries.
- Hands-on experience working with BPM/Workflow platforms.
- Strong understanding of retail and corporate collections lifecycle, treatment strategies, and regulatory considerations.
- Experience in pre-sales, solution consulting, and enterprise client engagements.
- Ability to create professional client-facing decks and articulate value propositions.
- Strong documentation skills including BRD, FSD, process flows, and wireframes.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in digital collections, payment gateway integrations, and omni-channel communication workflows.
- Exposure to analytics-driven collections strategies (predictive dialer, queue prioritization, settlement optimization).
- Understanding of regulatory frameworks and compliance standards in BFSI.
