Key Responsibilities

What you will do

  • Partner with business SMEs to deeply understand context, pain points, KPIs, and value hypotheses; frame problems and outcomes.
  • Driving the stakeholder meetings from the demand perspective for forecast discussions and alignment
  • Collection of data related to demand-impacting events such as promotions and Trade Events, Portfolio Changes. Summarize the market intelligence to fine tune the forecasts
  • Organizing and preparing data to generate forecast accuracy, bias reports of the statistical models used for forecast generation
  • Highlight the forecast deviations, other forecast related challenges, solutions to accurate forecast to the stakeholders
  • Confirm that business assumptions are consumed to generate forecasts, reviews are planned, updated and documented
  • Develop dashboards and self-service analytics specifications (Power BI/Tableau); define metric definitions and governance.
  • Independently handling operations related to forecasting and demand planning.
  • Translate business needs into functional and non-functional requirements; maintain traceability through delivery.
  • Define test strategies, write test cases, coordinate UAT, and validate that solutions meet acceptance criteria and regulatory/compliance needs.
  • Champion change management: create training materials, lead demos, collect feedback, and drive adoption and continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications

What we are looking for

  • Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Engineering at a minimum and MBA (Preferably) in Supply Chain Management
  • 4+ years of work experience as a Demand Planning, Demand Forecasting, Business Analytics.
  • Strong experience in Time Series Forecasting and Demand Planning
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills; ability to influence and lead workshops across levels and geographies.
  • A combination of business focus, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and programming knowledge to be able to quickly cycle hypothesis through the discovery phase of a project
  • Working knowledge of data extraction and transformation with SQL and Python
  • Good hands-on skills in both feature engineering and hyperparameter optimization
  • Experience producing high-quality code, tests, documentation
  • Understanding of descriptive and exploratory statistics, predictive modelling, evaluation metrics, decision trees, machine learning algorithms, optimization & forecasting techniques, and / or deep learning methodologies
  • Self-motivated and a proactive problem solver who can work independently and in teams

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience in Supply Chain functions (planning, manufacturing, quality, logistics) or Commercial (sales, marketing).
  • Background in CPG/Healthcare regulated environments and familiarity with validation/documentation standards.
  • Process improvement certifications (e.g., Lean/Six Sigma) and/or business architecture skills (value streams, capability maps).
