Job Description
The ME Business Analyst - GTNT CoE role optimizes the business requirements by interpreting the demand into the technical requirements on the platform. He/She will analyse business operations, identify opportunities for improvement, and collaborate with SMEs, Product Teams, & Local DBS teams to implement a fit-for-purpose solution
Key Responsibilities
- Analysing legislations and translate legislative aspects into business/technical requirements logged in an existing or new BRD
- Validate (new) user requirements and document them in business requirements ready to be processed by a designer
- Validate functional designs against business requirement
- Comply to the document management rules
- Support testing activities, according to the GTnT test strategy, incl.:
- Provide SIT scripts for existing functionalities
- Support SIT preparation, execution and validate SIT results for existing solution/template
- Provide UAT scripts
- Assist in UAT execution when required
- Maintain contacts with designers, local key-users and SMEs to validate assumptions, proposed direction of solution and get technical/business questions answered
- Create CR for system changes (coming forth from BRD's or BAU user requirements)
- Create and follow-up demands and DAB requests
- Provide documentation for AURA assessment, according to the BAT AURA process
- Participate in fit/gap sessions on request
- Maintain and Provide KT to Local Teams on TnT Infrastructure Requirements and TnT Masterdata
- Participate in solving problem records
- Quality assures the handover to BAU
- BRD handover to designers
Qualification
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, IT or Engineering
Requirements | Skillset, Competencies and Experience
- Good knowledge and understanding of overall business processes.
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst within manufacturing, or logistics, ideally in FMCG environments.
- Proven experience in gathering and translating business requirements into functional specifications (for serialization systems)
- Knowledge of serialization, track & trace regulations preferably in the tobacco industry (TPD, DTS, CRPT etc.) and related data standards (GS1, EPCIS).
- Knowledge of and hand on experience with SAP modules MM, PP, WM, LE
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams including IT, End Markets, Supply Chain, and external vendors.
- Skilled in process mapping, gap analysis, and supporting system testing in regulated environments.
- Proven excellence in communication, and documentation creation and management.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to troubleshoot process and data issues throughout the serialized product's lifecycle.
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
