Job Description
- Understands product requirements, business flows, system architecture design, upstream/downstream dependency & regulatory policies.
- Determines project requirements by studying business functions, evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements.
- Gathers information by working with relevant stakeholders such as middle office users, front office, compliance & technical teams etc.
- Performs requirement analysis, evaluates output requirements and formats.
- Defines project requirements by identifying project milestones, phases, and elements
- Works with Tech Lead to design new functionalities by analyzing requirements, constructing workflow matrix and diagrams, studying system capabilities etc
- Writing Project Requirement & Functional Spec documents for new business projects.
- Creates Jira stories for new project, maintains Jira requirement for BAU enhancement initiatives.
- Identifies and develop use cases based on requirements, business flow diagram to simplify requirements for technical team member.
- Verifies functionality of the application newly developed to ensure the accuracy and completeness of the functionalities are in line with the original requirement documents
- Acts or supports SM to monitor project progress by tracking activity, resolving problems, publishing progress reports, recommending actions.
- Works with the QA team to prepare test scenarios and data, review QA test plan and test cases.
- Recommends controls by identifying problems; writing improved procedures.
- Maintains system protocols by writing and updating procedures.
- Provides references for users by writing and maintaining user documentation, providing help desk support, training users.
