Role Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst with hands-on experience in Prophecy (Data Transformation Platform) to drive data-driven solutioning and business analysis initiatives. The role involves working closely with stakeholders, data engineers, and product teams to translate business requirements into scalable data workflows and impactful insights.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements for data-driven solutions.
- Work extensively on Prophecy for designing, managing, and optimizing data transformation pipelines.
- Collaborate with Data Engineering teams to translate business needs into ETL/ELT workflows.
- Create BRDs, FRDs, user stories, and process flows for data solutions.
- Perform data analysis, validation, and quality checks to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Develop dashboards, reports, and insights using BI tools (Power BI/Tableau, etc.).
- Support UAT, testing, and deployment cycles ensuring alignment with business requirements.
- Work with stakeholders to identify improvement opportunities and recommend data-driven solutions.
- Prepare documentation, use cases, and solution artifacts for internal and client use.
- Provide support in client discussions, demos, and solution walkthroughs when required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- B.Tech/M.Tech in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or related field.
- 57 years of experience as a Business Analyst in data/analytics projects.
- Hands-on experience with Prophecy (must-have) for data transformation and pipeline development.
- Strong understanding of ETL/ELT processes, data modeling, and data warehousing concepts.
- Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and at least one BI tool (Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
- Experience in creating functional and technical documentation.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills with the ability to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
