Senior Analyst
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end analyses, from problem framing to insight delivery and recommendations.
- Partner closely with commercial, operations, and leadership stakeholders to translate business questions into well-defined metrics and analytical approaches.
- Define, track, and evolve core performance metrics ensuring they are clearly understood and consistently measured.
- Build and maintain dashboards and recurring reporting that enable stakeholders to monitor performance and identify issues without constant analyst intervention.
- Go beyond reporting to diagnose drivers, identify trade-offs, and surface actionable insights.
- Communicate findings through clear narratives, visuals, and written summaries, tailored to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Support planning, target-setting, and performance reviews with data-backed inputs.
- Maintain a high bar for data accuracy, logic, and attention to detail, ensuring trust in outputs.
- Continuously improve existing metrics, dashboards, and analyses as the business evolves.
Qualifications
- 35 years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, consulting, or a related analytics role.
- Strong problem-solving ability - comfortable working with open-ended questions and ambiguous problem statements.
- Demonstrated experience with metric thinking: defining KPIs, understanding their limitations, and using them correctly.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL (must-have), with experience working on real-world, imperfect datasets.
- Experience building dashboards and visualizations using Looker or a similar BI tool like PowerBI or Tableau (good to have).
- Strong communication and data storytelling skills, with the ability to explain insights, assumptions, and caveats clearly.
- Interest and comfort in stakeholder management, including working with senior leaders
- High level of attention to detail, including data validation, edge cases, and consistency across analyses.
- Curiosity about how the business works and a mindset focused on decision impact, not just analysis completion.
