To support continued growth, we are recruiting a customer-obsessed, analytical, and detail-oriented Senior Business Analyst to join the FinOps PMO. This is not your average BA role you will work on complex, high-impact projects that are scalable, repeatable, and delivered to the highest controllership standards, touching every aspect of Amazon's global business.
What You Will Do
As a Senior Business Analyst, you will independently lead functional finance cross-process requirements analysis, validation, verification, and approval ensuring requirements are complete, consistent, feasible, and traceable. You will translate business and customer needs into timely, meaningful insights using data analysis tools and techniques, driving significant business value.
You will partner with Amazon's technical teams, process owners, subject matter experts, and senior leadership to design, develop, test, and launch automated, scalable solutions that meet customer needs while upholding our controllership and compliance standards. You will manage change requirements through effective change control processes, dive deep into business processes to identify problems and opportunities, and ensure efficient transition to operational business-as-usual.
Beyond delivery, you will create standardized business analysis artefacts and automation strategies that increase the maturity and effectiveness of our teams. You will influence stakeholders, communicate critical information to senior leadership to facilitate rapid decision-making, and continuously build a network of talent while sharing deep domain expertise across the organization.

Basic Qualifications
- Experience making business recommendations and influencing stakeholders
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, engineering , analytics, mathematics, statistics or a related technical or quantitative field
- Experienced with ERP systems (preferably Oracle) and data visualization tools
- Experience analyzing large datasets and translating them to actionable business insight
- Experience in accounts receivable or account payable, or experience in tax, finance or a related analytical field
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in finance, accounting or related field
- PMP/SCRUM/Agile certification or similar
- Knowledge of data analytics with tools such as Tableau, SQL, Quick-sight
- Experience using Excel at an advanced level including practical knowledge of VBA/macros and advanced Excel functions
