Role Overview
We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join our Technology team. This role is pivotal in bridging business needs with technical solutions, ensuring seamless collaboration across internal teams and external partners to drive impactful insurance solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Liaise with internal teams (Sales, Underwriting, Actuary, Operations, Claims, Finance) and external partners to ensure mutual understanding of processes and applications.
- Requirement Gathering & Solution Design: Lead requirements elicitation and translate business needs into system solutions.
- Customer Journey Mapping: Define and document end-to-end customer journeys to enhance user experience.
- Project Coordination: Work closely with development teams on project planning, sprint execution, and timely deliveries.
- Sprint Planning: Collaborate with Product Managers for weekly sprint planning and prioritization.
- Process Ownership: Understand business priorities and drive alignment between business processes and development efforts.
Experience & Skills Required
- Work Experience: 5 to 7 years in business analysis, preferably within motor insurance or financial services.
- Technology Known:
- SQL
- API Integration
- Basic understanding of Java, microservices, and web services
- Domain Expertise:
- Strong knowledge of general insurance products especially in property and casualty insurance
- Expertise in at least one insurance process (quote, policy issuance, finance, claims)
- Behavioral Traits:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities
Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's in a relevant field.
No mandatory certifications required.
