Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define and document comprehensive business requirements for data migration projects
- Identify and analyze existing data systems, processes, and potential data integrity risks to ensure continuous improvement
- Develop detailed and clear user stories in Jira to effectively bridge communication between business and technical teams
- Support the creation of testing strategies and define test cases to ensure data migration accuracy and quality
- Partner with development teams to validate that migration solutions align with business priorities and regulatory standards
- Facilitate cross-functional discussions to resolve data discrepancies and address migration challenges
- Maintain oversight of the data migration lifecycle to ensure alignment with project plans and deadlines
- Deliver insights and recommendations to streamline future migration processes and ensure optimal performance
- Serve as a key point of contact for resolving business-related issues or concerns during data migration
- Ensure a smooth transition of data while preserving accuracy, security, and compliance
Requirements
- 6-10 years of experience in business analysis, primarily focused on data migration projects
- Knowledge of data systems, relational databases, and management platforms
- Proficiency in writing and managing user stories using tools like Jira and Confluence
- Skills in analyzing business processes, documenting workflows, and identifying process improvements
- Understanding of data validation, testing methodologies, and data quality assurance
- Expertise in stakeholder communication, negotiation, and requirement gathering across teams
- Background in working with regulatory compliance or security within data-driven environments
