We are looking for a Business Analystwith experience in asset finance or banking product technology platforms to support the migration of asset finance product lifecycle data between platforms. The role will involve working closely with business, technology and operations teams to document processes, support data mapping and assist with testing and migration activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the migration of financial products / asset finance workflows and data from a legacy platform to a new target platform.
- Document current-state processes and workflows across asset finance operations and technology systems.
- Define and document target-state processes and functional requirements for the new platform.
- Perform data analysis and mapping between legacy and target systems.
- Support asset finance platform migration or transformation initiatives, including documentation of current workflows, data mapping and validation of migrated data.
- Work with technology teams to translate business requirements into system requirements.
- Prepare business requirement documents (BRD), functional specifications and process flows.
- Support data validation, reconciliation and issue tracking during migration activities.
- Coordinate with business stakeholders to support UAT planning, execution and defect resolution.
- Work closely with project managers and technical teams to ensure timely delivery of migration milestones.
Qualification: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
Required Skills
- 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in banking or financial services.
- Experience working with or supporting asset finance platforms (e.g., Alfa, Ambit or similar asset finance systems).
- Good understanding of asset finance lifecycle processes including origination, credit assessment, contract management and servicing.
- Experience supporting platform migration, system implementation or transformation programs.
- Strong experience in requirements gathering, documentation and stakeholder engagement.
- Experience in data analysis, data mapping and reconciliation activities.
- Familiarity with UAT support and defect management processes.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience working on asset finance platforms.
- Exposure to asset finance lifecycle systems, product origination platforms or credit workflow systems.
Familiarity with banking technology environments and system integration projects.
