About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Analyst to join our dynamic team in Mumbai. This role is pivotal in driving the successful implementation of enterprise IT solutions within the BFSI domain, particularly in lending, loan management, and credit systems. The Senior Business Analyst will serve as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating complex business requirements into clear, actionable specifications. This position requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills, strong domain expertise, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of technical understanding and business acumen to ensure that solutions are aligned with organizational goals and industry standards, ultimately contributing to the company's mission of delivering innovative financial technology solutions.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess prior experience in managing end-to-end implementation of enterprise IT solutions, preferably within the BFSI sector. A strong background in lending domain systems such as Loan Origination Systems (LOS), Loan Management Systems (LMS), or Credit systems is essential. Experience working in the Digital Banking or Securitization domain will be considered an added advantage. The candidate must have a proven track record of working on complex projects, demonstrating excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills. A relevant bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field is required, with certifications in Business Analysis (such as CBAP or PMI-PBA) being a plus.
Responsibilities
- Lead multiple concurrent projects by gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
- Develop comprehensive Business Requirement Documents (BRD) and Functional Specification Documents (FSD), including project scope, detailed functional and technical requirements, and implementation plans.
- Utilize advanced communication skills to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and vice versa, ensuring clarity and mutual understanding.
- Collaborate closely with the technology team to facilitate requirements understanding, drive system changes, and resolve issues during the development lifecycle.
- Coordinate with Quality Assurance teams to ensure testing scenarios accurately reflect functional requirements and support defect resolution.
- Assist project managers in effort estimation, planning, and resource allocation to ensure timely delivery of projects.
- Engage with cross-functional teams across geographically dispersed locations to foster collaboration and ensure project success.
- Monitor project progress, prepare status reports, and facilitate stakeholder meetings to communicate updates and gather feedback.
