Role Overview
We are seeking a proactive and outcome-driven Senior Business Analyst to lead the discovery phase for end-to-end enterprise solutions, including consumer-facing mobile applications and web platforms.
This role is critical in shaping product vision, defining business and functional requirements, and bridging the gap between business stakeholders, technology teams, and user experience. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong ownership, operate effectively in ambiguous environments, and drive structured outcomes with minimal guidance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Discovery & Requirement Gathering
- Lead discovery workshops with business and technical stakeholders to understand objectives and constraints.
- Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements, user journeys, and use cases.
- Translate complex business needs into clear, structured, and actionable requirements.
- Solution Definition & Scope
- Define end-to-end solution scope across enterprise systems, mobile applications, and web platforms.
- Identify integration points, dependencies, and risks across systems and workflows.
- Ensure alignment of requirements with business goals and customer experience expectations.
- Documentation & Agile Delivery
- Create comprehensive documentation including BRDs, PRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Manage and prioritize product backlog in alignment with business priorities.
- Work within Agile frameworks to ensure clarity and readiness for development teams.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with UX/UI, architecture, and engineering teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
- Facilitate alignment between stakeholders and delivery teams throughout the discovery phase.
- Support roadmap definition and prioritization of features and initiatives.
- Risk Management & Program Ownership
- Proactively identify risks, gaps, and dependencies and drive mitigation strategies.
- Ensure progress tracking, accountability, and timely delivery of discovery outputs.
Required Skills & Competencies:
- 3–4 years of experience as a Business Analyst in enterprise or digital product environments.
- Strong experience working on mobile applications (iOS/Android) and web platforms.
- Proven expertise in discovery, requirement gathering, and solution shaping for large-scale systems.
- Solid understanding of system integrations, APIs, and backend workflows.
- Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies, user story writing, and backlog management.
- Excellent stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills.
- Strong analytical thinking with the ability to structure ambiguity into clarity.
Must Have Skills:
- Exposure to AI-driven solutions and modern SDLC practices.
- Hands-on experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Figma, and Miro.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Delivery of clear, structured, and high-quality discovery artifacts.
- Well-defined solution scope with minimal ambiguity for design and engineering teams.
- Effective stakeholder alignment and requirement clarity.
- Timely completion of discovery phase aligned with business objectives.
- Reduction in rework due to well-defined requirements.
