Job Description

Summary:

The Sr. Professional in procure to pay will work in a cross-functional team environment comprised of technical staff, application end-users, business owners, and external vendors throughout Company Worldwide. The role involves providing functional application support for Oracle applications and other procure to pay applications globally. The ideal candidate will demonstrate functional knowledge of general administration, invoicing, and payments, specifically related to functions in payment automation in Oracle Applications, preferably R12 version. The candidate will also support corporate objectives such as compliance, stewardship, governance, risk management, and business continuity as they relate to global procure to pay applications.

Responsibilities:

  • Liaison with business owners and technical teams to understand business requirements, formulate technical solutions, map business requirements to system functionality, design, and document functional requirements.
  • Perform hands-on system configuration and data loads where needed.
  • Provide ongoing production support, including problem management, logging tickets, status communication, and escalation as needed.
  • Apply newer technologies like bots, predictive analytics, and mobile tools to ensure automation, analytical reporting, and digitized usage of applications.
  • Support and lead efforts on application training and change management, specifically for Oracle applications and associated processes.
  • Create/modify reports, dashboards, implement/update workflows, and manage purchasing setups in Oracle applications.
  • Participate in testing and documentation of business processes, configuration changes, and application updates.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or higher degree in Information Systems, Procurement, Sourcing, Finance, or equivalent work experience.
  • Knowledge of Oracle application (R12), primarily with modules like iExpense, purchasing, supplier maintenance, accounts payable, payments, etc., is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of any ERP application is preferred.
  • Proficiency with MS Office applications.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate and develop strong relationships.
  • Solid active listening and good customer service skills.
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills with the ability to independently prioritize and manage assigned projects.

Required Skills:

  • Depth of experience with Oracle Apps, Oracle Procure to Pay Process, and hands-on experience in payments.
  • 5 years of experience in relevant fields.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of Oracle application (R12), primarily with modules like iExpense, purchasing, supplier maintenance, accounts payable, payments, etc.
