Summary: Business Analyst role would be part of the team responsible phasing out the legacy FTP system and rolling it into new strategic platform. Along with an in-depth understanding of functional areas around FTP, IRRBB & Regulatory Liquidity risk the potential candidate requires strong business analysis skills, sound understanding of the Systems Development Life Cycle, and BI/MI reporting platforms
Responsibilities:
Act as a Business Analyst facilitating and supporting analysis included in relevant concept and methodology papers required for preparation of functional requirement documents.
Accountable for ensuring that detailed requirements are documented, and are duly signed off by relevant stakeholders
Ensure that the new solutions comply with internal procedures / external regulatory guidelines and project deliverables are properly understood by business stakeholders, project team, and end-users.
Validate strategic system architecture proposed by Technology is fit for its business purpose and is in line with the agreed business target state
Drive prioritization taking into consideration business benefits, delivery timelines, system performance etc.
Coordinate system interfaces/dependencies/change releases for the Treasury and Liquidity Reporting work streams and ensure alignment across all centers
Interact with the policy owners and producers of regulatory and internal risk metrics to understand their processes and to push the business perspective.
Communication with desks to understand user needs and resolve issues
Support the development of testing packs with predefined results sets
Prepare test cases ensuring completeness of UAT coverage
Execute UAT and present results to varied stakeholder groups and ensure timely and smooth sign off.
To monitor any gaps/bugs identified, and work with Technology counterparts to track progress and ensure resolution
Candidate would be required to:
Work in collaboration with Treasury policy, Country Finance, Treasury Markets, Operations teams to elicit requirements and document them as functional requirements.
Actively engage with stakeholders (business, ITO, CDO partners) to deliver appropriate solutions as per planned timelines
Support the project management from conception through to post-implementation review, ensuring all necessary governance steps are followed correctly and completely
Support functional testing activities
Follow a structured approach to programme delivery and provide regular risk/issue updates to the project Manager
Ideal candidate:
8+ years of overall experience and minimum 4 years of relevant first-hand experience implementing or supporting FTP, IRRBB, Liquidity systems.
Have prior experience working in change Management roles with excellent business analysis skill set.
Good understanding of Banking, Accounting, Cost recognition and balance sheet management.
Excellent understanding of financial markets products, corresponding account and Funds transfer pricing mechanism
Preferred experience with SAP FPSL/PAPM modules, S4 Hana, SAP SAC Business intelligence platforms.
Knowledge of Basel Liquidity regulations and good understanding of financial risk
Able to use SQL for data analysis.
Experience with agile methodologies for project delivery.
Experience in analyzing data to draw business-relevant conclusions and in data visualization techniques and tools
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
