Job Description: Brand Manager
Role Overview
We are seeking a Brand Manager preferably with health care exprience - with a strong understanding of healthcare ethics, patient psychology, and evidence-based communication. The role is responsible for building, managing, and protecting the brand identity across all touchpoints while ensuring strict compliance with medical and regulatory standards.
This position bridges clinical credibility and brand growth, ensuring that all messaging is accurate, empathetic, and trust-driven.
Key Responsibilities
1. Brand Strategy & Positioning
Define and execute the overall healthcare brand strategy aligned with organizational goals
Develop clear brand positioning rooted in patient trust, safety, and long-term value
Maintain consistency in brand tone, voice, and visual identity across platforms
2. Medical Accuracy & Compliance
Ensure all brand communication adheres to healthcare regulations and ethical standards
Collaborate with medical advisors, doctors, nutritionists, or clinical teams for validation
Review claims, content, and campaigns for accuracy and compliance (FSSAI/FDA/HIPAA or applicable regulations)
3. Content & Communication Governance
Oversee creation and approval of healthcare content (digital, print, social, PR, ads)
Translate clinical and scientific information into clear, patient-friendly communication
Drive patient education and awareness initiatives rather than aggressive promotion
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with marketing, product, legal, compliance, and clinical teams
Guide external agencies on healthcare-sensitive branding and communication norms
Align brand initiatives with business, clinical, and regulatory objectives
5. Brand Reputation & Trust Management
Monitor and manage brand reputation across digital and offline channels
Ensure ethical use of testimonials, reviews, and patient stories
Handle brand-related risks, misinformation, and crisis communication when required
6. Research & Insights
Conduct ongoing research on patient behavior, healthcare trends, and competitor brands
Track brand performance metrics and patient engagement indicators
Apply global and local best practices in healthcare branding
Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in:
Healthcare, Life Sciences, Nutrition, Public Health
OR Marketing / Brand Management with healthcare industry experience
48 years of experience in healthcare, wellness, health-tech, hospitals, or nutraceutical brands
Required Skills & Competencies
Strong understanding of healthcare ethics and patient-centric communication
Ability to balance brand growth with medical responsibility
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Regulatory awareness and attention to detail
Strategic thinking with long-term brand vision
High level of integrity, empathy, and accountability
You should be able to work with marketing teams and have fimilarity growth kpis.
