Key Responsibilities
- Champion the DevOps transformation through tools, automation, and cultural change.
- Support and enhance the CI/CD pipeline to streamline code promotion across environments.
- Lead efforts in system design consulting, capacity planning, and launch reviews for new services.
- Monitor and maintain the health of services post-deployment, including availability, latency, and fault tolerance.
- Practice sustainable incident response and conduct blameless postmortems.
- Identify and eliminate manual processes by introducing automation-first solutions.
- Troubleshoot and optimize across the full technology stack during production events.
- Collaborate across multiple time zones with global teams, contributing to knowledge sharing and mentoring.
- Provide feedback to development teams to close operational gaps and improve resilience.
- Act as a bridge between Product, Development, and Operations to align priorities and outcomes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience in software engineering or system administration.
- Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, system design, and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems.
- Hands-on experience with one or more programming languages: Java, Python, Go, Perl, Ruby, C/C++.
- Familiarity with modern CI/CD tools: Git/BitBucket, Jenkins, Maven, Artifactory, Chef, etc.
- Experience designing and implementing automated pipelines for reliable and fast software delivery.
- Experience analyzing ITSM metrics and feeding learnings into development processes.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive alignment.
