Senior Bid Startegist

Role Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented Senior Bid Strategist to manage and support government tendering processes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing technical compliance documents, coordinating with internal teams and partners, and maintaining bid trackers.

This role requires strong expertise in networking products along with a clear understanding of tender documentation, certifications, and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze RFP/tender documents and extract technical requirements

• Prepare clause-by-clause compliance statements

• Identify deviations and raise pre-bid queries

• Develop datasheets, compliance matrices, and technical documents

• Validate eligibility criteria, certifications, and OEM authorizations

Technical Pre-Sales Support

• Work with networking products like Switches, Routers, Access Points, Controllers & Transceivers

• Recommend suitable product solutions as per RFP requirements

• Coordinate with partners for BoM, compliance, and technical clarifications

• Ensure solutions meet all required standards and certifications

Coordination & Tracker Management

• Maintain tender, compliance, and query trackers

• Coordinate with sales, finance, partners, and management teams

• Track key milestones: pre-bid meetings, submission deadlines, evaluations

• Maintain proper documentation for all tenders

Certifications & Documentation

• Handle certifications such as TEC, BIS, WPC, CE, FCC, RoHS, ISO, IPv6 Ready, Common Criteria

• Ensure all certifications are valid and submission-ready

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of L2/L3 Switches, Routers, Access Points & Wireless Controllers

• Understanding of VLAN, STP, RSTP, MSTP, Routing, PoE, Fiber & SFP types

• Proficiency in MS Excel (trackers, compliance sheets, comparison sheets)

• Strong documentation and professional communication skills

Education

B.Tech / BE / Diploma (Electronics / IT / Computer / Telecom)

B.Sc / BCA with Networking Knowledge
