Educational Qualification: B.Tech/M.Tech/B.Sc/M.Sc/MCA/ MS Degree

Work experience: 6+ years

Job Description:

NRoot Labs is looking for a highly skilled and hands-on BI Senior Developer / Team Lead with at least 6 years of experience in Business Intelligence, data engineering and analytics. One must have a strong proficiency in SQL, Python, SSIS, Power BI and Tableau and must have worked extensively across all these technologies. Experience with cloud platforms (Azure and AWS) and BI/data architecture is essential. The ideal candidate should also have prior experience managing teams and delivering end-to-end BI solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of BI developers and analysts in delivering data-driven solutions.
• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and BI dashboards using SQL, Python, SSIS, Power BI and Tableau.
• Manage ETL processes and ensure data accuracy, consistency and performance.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver insights.
• Build and maintain scalable BI and data architectures.
• Ensure best practices in data security, governance, and cloud data integration.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the team.
• Monitor project progress and ensure timely delivery of BI initiatives.

Primary Skills:

• Strong SQL skills (querying, optimization, scripting)
• Hands-on experience with Python for data manipulation, automation and scripting
• Proven experience working with SSIS, Power BI, and Tableau
• Solid understanding of cloud technologies both Azure and AWS (data services, architecture, deployment)
• Strong background in data warehousing, ETL processes and performance tuning
• Team leadership experience managing workloads, mentoring and performance tracking
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills
• Cloud certifications (e.g., Azure Data Engineer, AWS Data Analytics) are a plus
