About StartupFlora

StartupFlora is the business consultancy division of Acolyte Technologies Pvt. Ltd., focused on enabling startups and SMEs to access government grants, funding schemes, incubators, and growth advisory services. We work closely with founders to drive business scalability through structured consulting and funding support.

Role Overview

We are hiring high-performing sales professionals across levels (BDA / Senior BDA / Team Leader) with a strong background in service-based industries such as Insurance, Banking, Financial Services, and Consulting.

The role involves end-to-end sales ownership, from lead generation to client closure, with a consultative selling approach. For senior roles, responsibilities will also include team handling, mentoring, and revenue ownership.

Key Responsibilities

Individual Contributor (BDA / Senior BDA)

  • Lead Generation & Prospecting: Identify and connect with startups, SMEs, and business owners
  • Client Acquisition: Pitch consultancy services and convert leads into paying clients
  • Consultative Selling: Understand client requirements and recommend relevant funding/grant solutions
  • Sales Closure: Drive revenue through consistent follow-ups and deal closures
  • Pipeline Management: Maintain and track leads through CRM and daily reporting
  • Target Achievement: Meet and exceed monthly revenue targets

Team Leader (TL) Responsibilities (Additional)

  • Team Management: Lead, mentor, and drive performance of a sales team
  • Target Allocation & Tracking: Assign targets and monitor team productivity
  • Sales Strategy: Plan and implement strategies to improve conversions
  • Performance Monitoring: Conduct daily reviews, feedback sessions, and training
  • Revenue Ownership: Ensure team-level target achievement and business growth

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience:BDA: 0–2 years
  • Senior BDA: 1-2 years
  • Team Leader: 2-3 years (with team handling experience)
  • Industry Preference: Insurance / Banking / NBFC / Financial Services / Consulting / Service Sales
  • Strong communication & persuasion skills
  • Proven experience in sales, lead conversion, and client handling
  • Ability to work in a target-driven environment
  • Good understanding of sales funnels and customer lifecycle
  • Basic knowledge of CRM tools and MS Office

Preferred Attributes

  • Experience in high-ticket sales or consultative selling
  • Exposure to startup ecosystem or financial products
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills
  • Leadership mindset (for Senior/TL roles)
  • High ownership and result-oriented approach

Compensation Structure

  • BDA: ₹2.0 – ₹3.5 LPA
  • Senior BDA: ₹3.5 – ₹4.8 LPA
  • Team Leader: ₹4.8 – ₹6.0 LPA
