This is an opportunity to help drive vision by bringing new corporate initiatives to life in our Customer Engagement Centers. Delta's Reservations Experience Design, Technology and Innovation team is seeking a Sr. Analyst to assist in leading automation product development for the division. The primary function is to leverage data, specialists feedback, analytics, and corporate initiatives to prioritize, create, and implement new products and features that drive revenue, personalized customer experience, and seamless servicing of customers. This includes working to create tools and implement automation to increase efficiency and eliminate low-value work. Success in this role will be measured by customer and specialist satisfaction, ensuring specialists are adequately prepared for changes and simplifying efforts to complete tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with other Sr. Analysts, Product Owners, Product Managers and stakeholders to refine features and stories and accept completed stories, ensuring they meet all predefined criteria.
- Translate product development goals into clear requirements including features, user stories, and acceptance test criteria.
- Coordinate automation product development and backlog with IT teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align solutions with business needs.
- Support product implementation, change management, and user readiness.
- Monitor product performance, data and user feedback and recommend product enhancements and continuous improvement.
- Provide regular status reports to key stakeholders, sponsors, project managers, and others involved in the project.
- Ongoing field engagement to gather customer and specialists feedback to drive continuous improvement
- Embrace diverse people, thinking, and styles.
- Champion agile methodologies within the squad, promoting best practices and continuous improvement.
- Utilize tools like Agility and Aha! for effective project management and ensure data hygiene to track progress accurately.

- Proficiency in written and oral communications and able to produce concise, relevant documents and presentations.
- Connects a business issue with the appropriate data sources to create a compelling story promoting positive and meaningful change
- Strategic thinking and creative problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into a logical and actionable story.
- Demonstrated initiative and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Curious mindset, willing to ask why until root causes of use cases are identified.
- Strong understanding of agile practices and principles, with a certification in Agile methodology preferred.
- Must be performing satisfactorily in present position.
- Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data.

What Will Give You a Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications)
- Agile Product Management training and experience.
- Strategic thinking and creative problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into a logical and actionable story.
- Experience with internal and external facing channels.
- Ability to understand and extract process related data
- Working knowledge with EXCEL or SQL
- Experience in programming and software development Proficiency in MS applications highly preferred
- Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma or Certification
- A background in Aviation.
- Reservations experience/ticketing.
