POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking an exceptional Senior Backend Engineer to architect and build the robust, scalable backend systems that power our AI Agents for the enterprises. You'll work directly with our CTO and engineering team to design high-performance, mission-critical backend infrastructure that handles real-time financial data processing, regulatory compliance, and seamless integration with banking systems.
This role is for a backend specialist who thrives on solving complex technical challengesfrom designing asynchronous processing systems and optimizing database performance to building resilient microservices that can handle enterprise-scale workloads.

YOUR ROLE
- Design and implement scalable, fault-tolerant backend architectures for high-volume data processing.
- Build secure and robust RESTful APIs and GraphQL endpoints.
- Develop high-performance asynchronous systems using Python (asyncio) and Node.js, integrated with message queues.
- Architect efficient database schemas (SQL/NoSQL) and implement caching strategies for low-latency response times.
- Build WebSocket-based systems for real-time AI agent interactions.
- Create seamless integrations with banking APIs, payment gateways, and other third-party services.
- Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code with comprehensive unit and integration tests
- Implement logging, monitoring, and alerting systems for production environments
QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of backend experience in production-grade systems.
- Strong experience with Python, including deep knowledge of asyncio, OOP, and design patterns.
- Familiarity with security protocols (OAuth, JWT) or financial compliance.
- Knowledge of ETL pipelines or large-scale data processing.
- Strong experience with Node.js and event-driven programming.
- Hands-on experience with FastAPI and Express.js.
- Advanced knowledge of PostgreSQL / MySQL (query optimization, tuning).
- Working knowledge of NoSQL (Elasticsearch, Redis).
- Experience designing and deploying microservices-based systems.
- Solid understanding of async processing with message queues (RabbitMQ, Kafka, SQS).
- Proficiency with any cloud services and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
