Job Description:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Backend Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems and APIs. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in backend technologies, system design, and cloud platforms, along with a passion for building high-performance applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and secure backend services and APIs
• Build microservices-based architecture and ensure high availability and performance
• Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and cross-functional teams
• Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and reliability
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
• Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems
• Implement best practices for security, data protection, and performance
• Work with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) for deployment and scaling
• Participate in system design discussions and architectural decisions

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
• 3–4 years of experience in backend development
• Strong proficiency language: Python
• Experience with frameworks such as Django, Spring Boot, Express.js
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, Microservices architecture
• Experience with databases: MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/GCP preferred)
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines
• Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms
• Experience with version control tools like Git

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with distributed systems and system design
• Exposure to AI/ML integrations or data-driven applications
• Knowledge of caching systems (Redis, Memcached)
• Understanding of message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environment
