Senior Backend Engineer

Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to design, develop, and scale high-performance backend systems, APIs, and distributed services. The role requires strong backend engineering fundamentals, ownership mindset, and the ability to work on scalable, secure, and reliable systems.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services, APIs, and microservices.
• Build secure, reliable, and high-performance server-side applications.
• Work on database design, query optimization, indexing, and data modelling.
• Integrate internal and external systems through APIs.
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement long-term fixes.
• Collaborate with product, frontend, QA, DevOps, and business teams.
• Contribute to architecture discussions, code reviews, and engineering best practices.

Required Skills

• 5–7 years of backend development experience.
• Strong experience in Node.js, Python, Java, Go, PHP, or similar.
• Good understanding of APIs, microservices, queues, caching, and distributed systems.
• Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, or similar.
• Strong understanding of system design, data structures, security, and performance
• optimization.
• Experience with Git and standard development workflows.

Good to Have

• Exposure to cloud platforms, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience in logistics, SaaS, marketplace, fintech, or high-scale product environments.
