Role Overview
We are looking for a high-octane Senior Backend Developer to join our engineering team in Gurgaon. You will be responsible for architecting and building the engine room of our high-traffic applications.
Responsibilities
The ideal candidate isn't just a coder but a problem-solver who can navigate multiple languages (Python, Java, Node.js) and understands the nuances of distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, and real-time search Responsibilities :
- Architect & Build : Design and develop highly scalable, fault-tolerant backend services and APIs using Python (FastAPI/Django), Java (Spring Boot), or Node.js.
- Search Optimization : Own the search and discovery experience by implementing and fine-tuning Elasticsearch clusters for lightning-fast data retrieval.
- Cloud Infrastructure : Architect serverless and containerized solutions on AWS, leveraging Lambda, EC2, S3, and RDS.
- Database Design : Design and optimize complex schemas for both Relational (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB/DynamoDB) databases.
- Scalability : Implement caching strategies (Redis) and message queues (Kafka/SQS) to handle millions of concurrent requests.
- Mentorship : Lead code reviews and mentor junior developers to uphold high standards of clean code and engineering excellence.
Technical Skill Set Skills
- Languages : Python, Java (8+), and Node.js Frameworks : Spring Boot, Django/FastAPI, Express.js
- Search Engine : Elasticsearch (Indexing, Sharding, Query DSL Cloud : AWS (IAM, EC2, Lambda, SQS, SNS, API Gateway)
- Databases : PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis
- DevOps : Docker, Kubernetes (EKS), CI/CD (Jenkins/GitHub Qualifications :
- System Design : Proven experience in moving from monolithic to Microservices architecture.
- Security : Deep understanding of OAuth2, JWT, and AWS security best practices.
- Performance : Experience in query optimization and reducing API latency by 50% or more.
- Location : Current residence in Gurgaon or open to immediate relocation to the NCR region.
