Role Overview
FutureTEC is seeking a highly skilled Senior Azure Data & AI Engineer to design, build, and optimize modern data platforms and AI-driven solutions on Microsoft Azure.
This is a hands-on technical role focused on data engineering, analytics, and AI capabilities, enabling organizations to leverage data for insights, automation, and decision-making. The role plays a key part in supporting FutureTEC's Microsoft partnership and Data & AI competency requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Data Platform Engineering
- Design and implement scalable data platforms on Azure
- Build and manage data pipelines and data integration workflows
- Work with structured and unstructured data across multiple sources
Analytics & Data Solutions
- Enable analytics and reporting solutions using modern data architectures
- Support business intelligence and data visualization initiatives
- Optimize data models and performance
AI & Machine Learning
- Support development and deployment of AI/ML models on Azure
- Work with AI services, automation, and cognitive solutions
- Contribute to AI-driven use cases and innovation initiatives
Collaboration & Delivery
- Work closely with architects, DevOps, and application teams
- Support end-to-end delivery of data and AI solutions
- Contribute to best practices and internal capability building
Required Certifications (Mandatory)
At least one of the following:
- DP-203 Azure Data Engineer Associate
- DP-100 Azure Data Scientist Associate
Preferred Certifications (Strong Advantage)
- DP-300 Azure Database Administrator Associate
- PL-300 Power BI Data Analyst Associate
- Additional Azure AI or data-related certifications
- Candidates with multiple certifications are strongly preferred.
Required Experience & Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics, or AI
- Strong hands-on experience with Azure data services
- Experience building data pipelines and data integration solutions
- Experience with SQL and data modeling
- Exposure to AI/ML concepts and tools
- Experience working in enterprise environments
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
Preferred Experience
- Azure Synapse, Data Factory, Databricks
- Power BI or analytics tools
- Machine learning frameworks and AI services
- Data governance and data quality practices
