Senior Automation Tester| Playwright | API | QA Engineering

We are looking for a Senior Automation Tester with deep expertise in Playwright, automation frameworks, CI/CD integration, and API testing to drive end-to-end quality engineering for Musafir's cloud-native travel platform. What You'll Do Build and maintain automation frameworks using Playwright Framework Develop modular, reusable test scripts in TypeScript and Python Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Azure Pipelines, GitHub Actions) Lead a QA team of 46 engineers and define automation strategy Automate REST/SOAP API testing using Postman, Swagger, and framework-driven approaches Execute testing across Web, Mobile Apps, and backend services Maintain test traceability using Jira and TestLink Implement BDD using Cucumber/SpecFlow and collaborate on acceptance criteria Conduct performance/load testing for booking and payment workflows Drive continuous improvement and shift-left testing practices Mentor QA engineers and lead defect triage, RCA, and preventive actions What You Must Have 58 years of hands-on experience in automation and quality engineering Strong expertise with Playwright (primary) and Robot Framework Proficiency in TypeScript, Python, JavaScript, Bash/PowerShell Knowledge of POM, data-driven, and keyword-driven frameworks API testing experience with Postman, Swagger, REST/SOAP Strong cross-browser, mobile, and accessibility testing experience CI/CD experience with Azure Pipelines or GitHub Actions; Docker-based execution Hands-on with Jira, TestLink, and BDD frameworks (Cucumber/SpecFlow) Ability to build dashboards, quality KPIs, and integrate reports with Grafana/Elasticsearch Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum and microservices testing approaches Nice to Have ISTQB / Playwright certifications Travel, OTA, e-commerce, or high-traffic domain experience Cloud testing on AWS/Azure Database testing (MongoDB, PostgreSQL, SQL Server) Security testing basics (OWASP) Visual regression testing tools Performance testing with JMeter, Gatling, or K6 Test data management / synthetic data creation Contract testing with Pact Experience contributing to QA Centers of Excellence
