Senior Automation Tester

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for web applications and microservices

• Build automated test suites for Java Spring Boot microservices and React-based front-end applications

• Develop API and integration tests for RESTful services

• Integrate automation tests into CI/CD pipelines using GitHub and Git

• Execute automated tests in containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes

• Validate application deployments in AWS environments

• Analyze logs and troubleshoot issues using Splunk and other monitoring tools

• Work closely with developers, DevOps engineers, and product teams to ensure high quality releases

• Participate in test planning, test strategy, and test case design for new features

• Improve test coverage, test reliability, and automation efficiency

Required Skills

• Strong 8+ years experience with test automation tools (such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar)

• Proficiency in Java and automation frameworks (TestNG, JUnit, or similar)

• Experience testing Spring Boot microservices architectures

• Experience testing React or modern JavaScript web applications

• Strong experience in API testing and REST services validation

• Experience working with AWS cloud environments

• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes based deployments

• Experience using GitHub and Git in CI/CD pipelines

• Experience with log monitoring and troubleshooting using Splunk

• Strong understanding of automation best practices and test design patterns

Nice to Have

• Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, Gatling, or similar)

• Experience with service virtualization or mocking frameworks

• Familiarity with behavior-driven testing frameworks (Cucumber, BDD)

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
