Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Test Automation Engineer with 7+ years of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining automated testing frameworks. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Python-based automation, database validation using MSSQL, cloud-based testing on Azure, and test management using tools like Monday.com. This role requires leadership in quality strategy, automation architecture, and mentoring junior QA engineers.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain robust test automation frameworks using Python

Implement automation for API, UI, and database-level testing

Perform data validation and reconciliation using MSSQL

Lead end-to-end test automation strategy for complex enterprise applications

Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps

Validate reports and large datasets using advanced Excel techniques (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Macros)

Manage test cases, test execution, and defect tracking using Monday.com

Collaborate with Product, Development, and DevOps teams to ensure quality deliverables

Perform root cause analysis and provide test metrics and quality reports

Mentor junior QA engineers and conduct code reviews

Ensure best practices for security, performance, and regression testing

Required Skills

Must Have

7+ years of experience in Software Testing & Test Automation

Strong proficiency in Python (automation frameworks, scripting)

Hands-on experience in test automation tools/frameworks (PyTest, Robot Framework, Selenium, Playwright any)

Strong knowledge of MSSQL (queries, joins, stored procedures, data validation)

Experience with Azure (Azure DevOps, pipelines, test plans, cloud environments)

Excellent experience in Excel-based data analysis & reporting

Experience working with Monday.com for test management or project tracking

Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile/Scrum methodologies
