Responsibilities
- Should have knowledge on playwright automation using BDD framework.
- Knowledge of writing automation scripts and executing using test automation tools. For e.g. Playwright, Silktest, selenium, Appium etc.
- Develop and evolve the automation framework (Data Driven, Keyword driven and Hybrid)
- Should be an expert in VB.
- Should be able to write functional test case, evaluate them and execute using manual techniques as well as automatiomn techniques.
- Should be able to write and execute SQL scripts
- Maintenance of already developed automation scripts.
- Evaluate various open-source automation tools
- Evaluate plugins with other tools which would enhance productivity.
- Integration with other test tools.
- Update the daily activities in Daily Status Report.
- Knowledge of API testing using automated tool. For e.g. postman.
- Should be a good team player and have knowledge of working in agile environment.
- Attend daily scrum calls, status calls, governance calls etc and assist the lead and project manager in status collation & updation.
- The position will entail functional testing also, hence candidate should be willing to work in both functional as well as automation area
- Good to have: working knowledge in Loans area or banking.
Qualifications
- B.E./B. TECH in any stream/ MCA/ M.Sc. (IT)
- Should have passed/ Should clear ISTQB Foundation Level
Essential Skills
Experience
- Should have passed B.E./B. TECH in any stream OR MCA OR M.Sc. (IT) OR from any recognized College/University duly approved by AICTE.
- 3-6 Years of Experience as Automation Engineer
- Should have passed/ Should clear ITSQB Foundation Level within three months of joining or its equivalent
