About this opportunity:
We are excited to present a dynamic opportunity at the forefront of the IT industry for an IT Engineer/Tester. You will test, administer, troubleshoot, and support a wide range of customer application systems. Using expert manual and automated test-case design, you will deliver services that meet and exceed customer expectations while working in a hybrid (onsite/remote) environment as part of a customer-focused team.
What you will do:
- Identify and define test cases for automation; implement, review code, troubleshoot and resolve team issues, and prepare reports.
- Design automation strategies and contribute to framework design; apply strong core Python knowledge.
- Develop, debug, and maintain Python and Robot Framework scripts.
- Apply strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
- Implement data-driven testing approaches.
- Handle YAML and JSON data effectively.
- Work with Jira and Jira APIs (advantageous; 2+ years preferred).
- Build test automation frameworks from near-scratch when required.
- Research and propose creative automation solutions to complex testing problems.
- Communicate clearly and collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
- Provide 12 hours daily overlap with the US onsite team.
The skills you bring:
- Hands-on experience with Robot Framework.
- UI automation experience using Selenium or equivalent libraries.
- Advanced core Python skills.
- Python scripting experience, including custom keywords.
- End-to-end API automation experience using Python.
- Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps concepts (Rosetta pipeline preferred).
- Understanding of Docker, containers, and Helm.
- CLI and non-functional automation skills, including shell scripting.
- Experience testing cloud-native applications on Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of Git, Rosetta, and Jenkins.
- Experience with continuous testing and DevOps practices.
