Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to technology audit assurance plans and execute allocated audit tasks across the engagement lifecycle
- Lead audit engagements, including planning, execution, reporting, and closure
- Review and assess technology-related risks and controls to provide effective and insightful assurance
- Analyse management information and perform detailed process mapping to identify control gaps and improvement opportunities
- Produce clear, accurate audit engagement reports and audit opinions
- Raise and articulate audit issues, contributing to opinion discussions to influence prudent risk management
- Coach and support auditors, leveraging industry-leading audit methodologies and tools
- Manage workload effectively to deliver audit projects within agreed timelines and budgets
- Engage with stakeholders to ensure clear understanding of technology and business risks
- Share knowledge and expertise across multiple audit engagements within the bank
Required Skills and Experience
- Strong background in technology with prior experience in internal or external audit and risk management
- Minimum of seven years of relevant professional experience
- Demonstrated ability to identify, assess, and manage technology risks and controls
- Strong problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
- Experience or exposure to cloud technologies, APIs, DevSecOps, or cyber security
- Opportunity or experience transitioning from cloud operations into infrastructure or cyber security audit roles
- Desirable certifications in AWS or Azure
- Familiarity with industry standards such as SOC 2 and Cloud Security Alliance frameworks
- Strong understanding of effective risk management principles
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
