Overview: We are looking for a Senior Social Media Associate - South Region to lead regional social
media execution across South India. This role will own content ideation, on-ground execution, creator
coordination, and regional storytelling, ensuring strong cultural relevance while staying aligned with
the brand's national social media strategy. You will work closely with the central social media team to
scale city-specific pages, execute regional campaigns, and drive community engagement on platforms
like Instagram, YouTube, and emerging formats.
What you will do:
Regional Social Media Ownership
Own and manage social media content for the South region (Tamil Nadu)
Ensure regional relevance while maintaining brand tone, visual identity, and storytelling
guidelines.
Adapt national campaigns into region-specific narratives.
Content Ideation & Execution
Ideate, plan, and execute region-specific content (reels, carousels, stories, shorts).
Identify local trends, pop-culture moments, and festival hooks to create timely content.
Work on bus-centric storytelling, human-led content, and on-ground interactions.
On-Ground Shoots & Coordination
Lead on-ground social media execution at boarding points, routes, events, and activations.
Coordinate with operations, drivers, marshals, photographers, and videographers.
Ensure smooth shoot execution, asset collection, and post-shoot handover.
Performance Tracking & Optimization
Track performance of regional content (reach, engagement, saves, shares).
Share insights on what's working regionally and suggest content improvements.
Collaborate with the central team to optimize content formats and storytelling.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with the central social media, design, video, and marketing teams.
Coordinate with operations and city teams for smooth on-ground execution.
Support new route launches, offline campaigns, and regional brand activations..
What we are looking for:
35 years of hands-on experience in social media management or digital marketing.
Strong understanding of Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and trend-led content.
Familiarity with South Indian culture, languages, and digital behavior.
Experience handling on-ground shoots and real-time content.
Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder-management skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple cities simultaneously.
Comfortable with travel and flexible working hours when required.Salary: As per industry standards and
