About Research & Insights Practice:

BDO India has set-up its Research & Insights (R&I) vertical to elevate decision-making for both our internal practice teams and external clients through unparalleled industry expertise and data-driven insights. The R&I vertical brings together a dynamic team of subject-matter-experts, sector analysts, management consultants, researchers, and editorial experts to deliver critical intelligence that empowers clients to stay ahead of market trends and adeptly navigate shifting macro and geo-political dynamics.

Research & Insights team provides bespoke research, and data and analytics led solutions, to our practice teams and enterprise clients, helping them drive topline performance and unlock operational efficiencies. Our team of qualified and experienced analysts act as an extension of our internal practice teams and external clients on various engagements including - business strategy, competitive intelligence, financial analysis, and benchmarking studies, amongst others.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage multiple projects, guiding through scoping, timelines, content development, and client engagement
  • Deliver high quality, client-ready output consistently; identify risks / issues and escalate to the reporting manager in a timely manner
  • Act as the primary project contact: prioritize workflows, collect feedback, address issues, and seek up-selling/cross-selling opportunities
  • Ensure work quality: review outputs for accuracy, value addition, and adherence to timelines.

Competencies & Experience:

  • 2-4 years of experience in a similar role at leading research and analytics, KPOs and consulting firms
  • A multi-disciplinary thinker, qualitative and quantitative research experience, preferably a research lead from a consulting background with experience in building high-performing teams.
  • Proven client facing experience proactively engaging client users to understand project scope and requirements, and coordinating task execution through frequent phone and email correspondence
  • Skilled in all aspects of business and financial research across various output types
  • Strong experience in leveraging new-age technologies and data analytics capabilities to efficiently extract, process, and deliver content in an easily understandable way
  • Adept in leveraging research databases such as CapitalIQ, Bloomberg, FactSet, Thomson Reuters, Factiva, amongst others
  • Master's degree in business, Economics, English Literature, or Mass Communication from a top-tier university or college.
