Electronics / Electromechanical/Mechatronics Commodity Purchasing Associate

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as anElectronics / Electromechanical/MechatronicsPurchasing Associate. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the procurement process for various components and commodities required for our organization's operations. Your primary goal will be to ensure the timely and cost-effective procurement of high-quality Electronic or Electromechanicalcommodities while maintaining strong supplier relationships.

Responsibilities:

  • Procurement Planning: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their requirements for Electronic or Electromechanicalcomponents and commodities, and develop procurement plans accordingly.

  • Supplier Identification and Evaluation: Identify potential suppliers for Electronic or Electromechanicalcomponents and commodities, conduct market research, and evaluate suppliers based on their capabilities, quality, pricing, and delivery terms.

  • Negotiation and Contracting: Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with suppliers, and finalize contracts to ensure favorable terms for the organization.

  • Purchase Order Processing: Support for creation of purchase orders in line with organizational policies and procedures.

  • Quality Assurance: Support & Collaborate with the quality control team to ensure that purchased electronic components and commodities meet the required quality standards and specifications.

  • Cost Optimization: Continuously seek opportunities to optimize costs through supplier negotiations, volume discounts, and alternative sourcing strategies.

  • Supplier Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, conduct regular performance evaluations, and address any issues or concerns that may arise.

  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to electronic commodity purchasing, and manage risks associated with supply chain disruptions, price fluctuations, and quality issues.


Qualifications

Educational qualification:

  • B.Sc (Electronics) or B.E or B.Tech., (Electrical / Electronics/Mechanical Engg/Mechatronics)

Experience :

Electronics / Electromechanical/Mechatronics- 4 to 5 years working experience

Mandatory/requires Skills :
Desired Skills

  • Proven experience in Electronic or Electromechanicalcommodity purchasing or procurement roles.

  • Strong knowledge of electronic and mechanical components, their specifications, and their applications.

  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.

  • Proficiency in procurement processes, including supplier identification, negotiation, contracting, and purchase order processing.

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.

  • Attention to detail and ability to work with accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and build strong relationships with suppliers.

  • Proficiency in using procurement software and tools.

  • Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to Electronic or Electromechanicalcommodity purchasing.

  • Strong ethical standards and commitment to compliance.
