Job Purpose
Assist to manage the Strategic Procurement of the Bank, local & overseas (mainly but not limited) to Marketing, Customer Experience & Product Departments etc.
- Understand business requirement; ensure CPD function performs to its expected level in terms of quality, quantity, vendor / supplier relation, end user satisfaction and bottom line contribution within agreed time frames.
- Identify the areas of cost save, demand management & process improvement.
- Identify suitable potential vendors in areas related to Marketing, Customer Experience, Products and Events etc. (not limited)
- Explore new and innovative ideas for, automation, modernizing and simplifying the process, cost effective and value added.
- Living the value of the bank, adhering to code of conduct, adherence to Procurement Policy & Procedures, Compliance & Audit.
- Basic knowledge & Input for Procurement Policy (PP), SOP Revision, and visibility of PP, Compliance to PP internally and externally in the bank.
- Good knowledge on Marketing related tools, Vendors and fairly good knowledge on Digital Media. Knowledge on Product related advertisements.
- Proactiveness in spend management, stakeholder engagement and strategy.
- Basic knowledge of demand and expense management
- Mandatory awareness of Centralized Contract Repository Management of Physical Contracts which can be easily retrieved and timely updating of data.
- Timely renewal of contracts in coordination & intimation to right department.
- Timely floating of RFP/RFI, issuance of LPO's accuracy (i.e. ADM category, cost centers, chargeability etc.)
- Daily, weekly, monthly MIS to stake holders.
- Customer service, removal of bottlenecks, train the users.
- Identify cost save transactions and recommend.
- Ensure professional supply market research and Innovation from supplier market.
- Recommend suitable potential suppliers with regard to internal demand requirements.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Graduate within minimum 5 years of marketing procurement experience.
- Strong Analytical Skill withe. Excel, Word, MIS reporting, and Power Point with good presentation & communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of Banks operating system specifically Oracle, Procurement related applications viz. Sourcing, Tendering, eAuction Contract Management System.
