Job Description

  • Participate in all phases of investment work, from sourcing to idea generation to diligence to deal execution and portfolio monitoring.
  • Develop sector insights and investment theses across short-listed segments such as technology‑enabled services, millennials-focused consumer products, and emerging industrial themes.
  • Build and maintain templates and frameworks - segment analysis, website analysis, MIS analysis, supply chain economics analysis, listed comparables analysis, M&A comparables analysis, financial model, deal teaser, investment committee memo, and quarterly updates for investors.
  • Engage directly with portfolio company management teams, co‑investors, and external advisors.
  • Contribute to the preparation of the firm's global asset allocation activities, including research, fund manager selection, and performance analysis.
  • Assist the founder in regularly refining the firm's investment frameworks, therefore process discipline and independent thinking are highly valued.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Associate should have:

  • C.A. (passed the final in first attempt) or C.F.A. (passed level 3).
  • 4-6 years of experience post C.A. in doing unlisted deals, or doing commercial or financial DD for unlisted deals, or investment banking for consumer deals. Ideal experience would be in consumer products and services sectors, from Series A onwards (not Seed stage). We are not seeking candidates from Capital Markets / Debt placement / Infrastructure / Real estate / Consulting.
  • Strong analytical and financing modeling capabilities.
  • Proven ability to work independently in a small team and comes across as a team player to both peers and clients.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
