Job Description

The Inter Affiliate Services team, part of Global Supplier Services, centrally manages oversight and governance for Inter Affiliate activity across JPMC legal entities and corporate functions. Our mission is to ensure consistent compliance with the Inter Affiliate Oversight (IAS) policy and standards globally.

Job Summary

As an Associate within the Third Party Risk Assessment team you will be responsible for centrally overseeing Inter Affiliate Services (IAS) governance across JPMC legal entities and corporate functions, ensuring endtoend adherence to IAS policy and standards. You will manage a pipeline of interaffiliate engagements from intake through steady state, serve as the primary point of contact for lineofbusiness requests, and ensure timely completion of requirements based on risk tier and process steps. You will identify, escalate, and drive remediation of risks and issues maintain accurate records and reporting in tools such as COMPASS, QlikView, and Cognos and prepare clear updates for stakeholders and governance forums.

Job responsibilities

  • Manage and monitor a pipeline of Inter Affiliate projects for compliance with the IAS program.
  • Serve as the central contact for LOB requests to the GSS IAS team.
  • Track projects and services using reports, tools, and system research.
  • Ensure timely completion of requirements based on risk tier and process steps.
  • Identify, explain, and remediate risks and issues, reporting progress to stakeholders.
  • Update systems (COMPASS, Qlikview, Cognos), issue reports, and maintain documentation per policy.
  • Build strong relationships with business partners, understanding needs and risk mitigation solutions.
  • Guide stakeholders on IAS procedures and systems.
  • Oversee multiple countries/regions, collaborating with SMEs in Legal, Compliance, Privacy, and Tax.
  • Support post go-live requirements, including steady state and scorecard monitoring.
  • Lead ad hoc projects, facilitate meetings, and coordinate actions.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Excellent written, verbal, listening, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong business analysis and data-driven decision-making abilities.
  • Advanced analytical and research capability.
  • Effective collaboration with Legal, Tax, and Regional Governance teams.
  • Solid understanding of risk management and control principles.
  • Familiarity with regional and local regulatory outsourcing requirements.
  • Proven organizational skills with the ability to execute, escalate issues, and manage deadlines with urgency.
  • Sound business judgment with proactive issue identification and root-cause analysis.
  • Proactive approach to problem solving and process improvement.
  • Persuasive stakeholder management to influence and drive outcomes.
  • Experience: 12+ years overall 5+ years in Inter Affiliate Services, Finance, Sourcing, TPO, Risk, Oversight & Control, Vendor Management, or similar roles.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • In-depth knowledge of IAS and/or TPO standards
  • Preferred experience with procurement tools: COMPASS, Ariba, CWOC, NEIM, Concur, 4Site, FORCE, Bridger, Qlikview, Cognos
