Title: Senior Associate Integration Specialist
Location: Noida
The Role
The key function of the Senior API Integration Specialist, Apexportal is to configure and develop integration interfaces with client ERP systems to integrate data. The responsibilities include and are not limited to having client discussions, create BRDs, provide execution and business solutions for client integration implementations for apexportal Solutions software application. We are seeking an experienced individual with 3+ years of knowledge in data driven API solutions, data warehousing concepts, and ETL pipelines. This person will possess strong, broad IT background including multiple API implementations with software-as-a-service and on-premise solutions. This position is in our apexportal Solutions department, which develops and implements consulting services for apexportal to our clients. The candidate should work to become an expert on apexportal Solutions functionality and implementation and integration procedures.
The Work -
Primary Tasks/Activities
- Assist clients in designing and configuring interfaces between their ERP systems and apexportal and lead the testing of ERP integrations which includes reconciling data between client's ERP system(s) and apexportal.
- Understanding the gaps in system that can be bridged using AI.
- Leverage AI-driven solutions to simplify and streamline integations between client ERP systems and Apex, identifying opportunities for intelligent automation and reducing manual intervention.
- Lead working sessions with Client for requirement gathering.
- Connect with developers from the client end to help in the integration process which requires expertise in business/technical knowledge.
- Present functional overview and functional requirements to clients when planning integration and upgrades.
- Setup of technical environment and serve as the technical expert for hosted clients.
- Implement/Configure API specific to clients.
- Solve complex business and application problems independently and serve as a primary contact for our SmartVM application.
- Develop, Implement, and enhance high impact business process improvement projects.
- Continuous delivery and quality check of data via the APIs or application interface 24x7.
- Troubleshoot network, database, and software problems for our client implementations.
- Conduct training for designated clients.
- Work with Infrastructure personnel to resolve client integration issues.
- Communicate/coordinate with Client Value Team as well as Audit team to support clients.
- Involve in other in-house Research & Development project of apexportal Solutions
The Must-Haves -
- Strong experience in SQL Server, and database fundamentals - ability to create complex Stored Procedures, indexes, views and jobs.
- Data definition, data manipulation, data control, and transactional control.
- Administration, including creating and restoring SQL backups.
- Strong background in system integration, Data Warehousing concepts, and ETL (extract, transform, load) processes.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience working with ERP systems such as Oracle (all versions), SAP (all versions), Salesforce, JDE (JD Edwards), Ariba, or similar enterprise platforms.
- Strong knowledge in REST, SOAP APIs, interfaces and data delivery via APIs.
- Comprehensive understanding of API concepts including push/pull mechanisms, webhooks, polling, event-driven architectures, and real-time vs batch data synchronization.
- Hands on experience in Postman, Debugging Tools, for developing SOAP or REST Integrations.
- Knowledge of standard API/Web Service authentication/authorization practices (OAuth).
- Knowledge of CSV, XML, and JSON file formats.
- Knowledge of data related applications and best practices for review of data quality.
- Good knowledge on SSIS and other ETL tools.
- Experience with reporting and data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
- Experience with cloud data platforms like Snowflake or similar data warehousing solutions.
- Exposure to AI tools and technologies, including experience with AI Agents creation, automation workflows, intelligent systems, and LLM integrations.
- Hands-on experience with AI assistant tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, GitHub Copilot, or Microsoft Copilot, with a proven track record of building integration-related solutions, code generation, data mapping transformations, or automation scripts leveraging these tools.
- Ability to design AI-powered integration solutions that intelligently map, transform, and validate data between disparate ERP systems and Apex platform with minimal manual configuration.
- Ability to create and maintain Mockups, BRD, FRD and Wireframes using various applications like Visio, Excel, Microsoft Project, Adobe.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel and Outlook).
- Ability to juggle multiple projects and course correct as business drivers change.
- Hands-on experience with reporting and data visualization tools for generating business insights and operational reports.
Required Experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related discipline with 3+ years of related experience OR Master's Degree in computer science, Information Sciences or related discipline with 2+ years of related experience preferred.
- 3+ years of experience as an integration specialist or in a similar role with strong exposure to Data Warehousing concepts and ETL pipelines.
- 3+ years of IT background including multiple API (REST/SOAP) implementations and configuring integrations with both software-as-a-service and on-premise solutions.
- 2+ years of SQL development and database programming.
- 2+ years of SSIS or equivalent ETL tool experience.
- 2+ years of experience with reporting/visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.).
- Experience with cloud data platforms (Snowflake, Azure Synapse, AWS Redshift, etc.).
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, Salesforce, JDE, Ariba).
- Customer-facing experience with large customers preferred.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and business units to define application and system configuration standards.
