Job Responsibilities:
- Execute buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence engagements, including carve-outs
- Perform detailed financial statement analysis, trial balance mapping, and reconciliations
- Prepare databooks and analyze key financial and operational KPIs
- Conduct Quality of Earnings (QoE), working capital, and trend analysis
- Analyze and validate management and audited financial information
- Draft sections of due diligence reports, including business overview, historical analysis, and QoE adjustments
- Frame management questions to identify financial, operational, and deal-related risks
- Identify engagement risks and escalate issues in a timely and structured manner
- Ensure high-quality deliverables in line with engagement timelines and internal quality standards
- Support Managers in methodology development, proposals, and internal initiatives
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Strong technical knowledge of financial statements analysis and transaction accounting
- Hands-on experience in Financial Due Diligence / Transaction Services engagements
- Proficiency in databook preparation, trial balance mapping, and reconciliations
- Solid understanding of QoE, working capital, and KPI analysis
- Advanced Excel skills and ability to manage large and complex datasets
- Strong analytical skills with a solution-oriented approach
- Ability to understand business models, industry dynamics, and deal drivers
- Strong written and verbal business communication skills
- High level of attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within teams
Education / Professional Experience/ Qualifications:
- CA or MBA Finance with 1 to 3 years of experience into Financial Due Diligence.
