About the role

This role will own the end-to-end revenue strategy and execution for a defined Line of Business (LOB) / program portfolio. This role is accountable for delivering revenue and enrolment targets by leading large-scale B2C inside sales teams and driving operational excellence, sales effectiveness, and customer conversion outcomes.

This is a critical leadership role responsible for scaling high-performance sales teams, strengthening pipeline conversion, and aligning closely with Marketing, Product, and Revenue leadership to accelerate business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Revenue Ownership & Growth

  • Own and deliver revenue and enrolment targets for the assigned LOB/program portfolio.
  • Drive sales strategy, pipeline conversion, and program performance in alignment with business goals.
  • Partner with Marketing and Revenue teams to optimize demand generation, conversion, and revenue realization.
  • Lead turnaround efforts for underperforming programs and respond effectively to evolving business priorities.

Sales Leadership & Team Management

  • Lead and scale large inside sales teams, including Senior Managers, Managers, Team Leaders, and Program Advisors.
  • Build a high-performance, accountable, and customer-centric sales culture.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop leadership bench strength and ensure strong succession pipelines.

Operational Excellence

  • Drive sales productivity, conversion, and operational KPIs to maximize team effectiveness.
  • Ensure optimal workforce planning, staffing, and coverage aligned with business needs.
  • Maintain strong governance on sales quality, performance metrics, and operational rigor.

Stakeholder Leadership

  • Represent Inside Sales in cross-functional business reviews and leadership forums.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Product, and Revenue leaders to drive integrated growth strategies.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in B2C / Inside Sales or Revenue leadership roles.
  • Managing inside sales/field sales team sizes of 100+ headcount along with revenue responsibility.
  • Good interpersonal & Excellent communications skills.
  • Strong experience in setting up and leading motivated, ethically sound, high-performance sales teams
  • Track record in setting up governance mechanisms and sales processes
  • Self-motivated & adaptable to changing business needs
  • Strong business acumen, leadership capability, and operational execution skills.
  • Ambition to overcome roadblocks and consistently achieve plan.
