Job Description

Role Description: Mid. Product Designer

  • Design intuitive employee tools and engaging customer-facing digital experiences, ensuring consistency and quality across all touchpoints.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including shop floor, operations, product, technology, and leadership to drive design outcomes.
  • Use visual thinking tools such as journey maps, service blueprints, and frameworks to clarify complex problems and align stakeholders.
  • Translate ideas into concepts, prototypes, and designs, iterating based on user feedback and real-world insights.
  • Contribute to product roadmaps, service strategies, and internal tools by providing strong design input in planning and decision-making.
  • Communicate design thinking, rationale, and outcomes through clear and compelling presentations for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Plan and facilitate Design Thinking workshops to align teams, uncover insights, and generate ideas.
  • Shape solutions for both employee workflows and customer experiences, helping teams move from insight to action.
  • Operate effectively in fast-changing environments while balancing multiple initiatives and solving complex problems.

As a prospective candidate, you should possess:

  • 6+ years of experience in product design, design research, service design, or systems thinking.
  • Strong ability to work in ambiguous environments and progressively bring clarity to complex problems.
  • Ability to understand and connect insights across users, systems, and business needs.
  • Capability to think both strategically (end-to-end experience) and tactically (detailed design refinement).
  • Experience engaging with customers, frontline staff, and stakeholders to inform design decisions.
  • Proficiency using design tools such as Figma to create and refine experiences.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to align diverse teams around a shared vision.
  • Experience applying AI tools to design human-centered experiences that enhance, not replace, design practices.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams and functions in fast-paced environments.

Desired qualifications

  • Bachelor's in computer science or related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience in the automotive industry or similar complex, service-driven environments.
  • Familiarity with internal tools and systems supporting employee workflows and operational efficiency.
  • Ability to contribute to both customer-facing and internal experience design initiatives.
  • Business Experience: 3-7 years of experience.
