Responsibilities
- Oversee the distribution strategy and execution for the consumer banking group within the assigned cluster
- Manage and lead a team of relationship managers and sales professionals to drive business growth and customer acquisition
- Analyze market trends, customer behavior, and competitive landscape to develop and implement effective sales and distribution strategies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless customer experience and product/service delivery
- Set performance targets, monitor key metrics, and provide coaching and mentorship to the team
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and productivity
- Represent the organization in industry events, conferences, and client meetings
Requirements
- Minimum 8-10 years of experience in the banking or financial services industry, with a proven track record of leading a sales or distribution team
- Strong understanding of the consumer banking landscape, including products, services, and customer needs
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills
- Proficient in data analysis, problem-solving, and decision-making
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing business requirements
- Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team
- Relevant tertiary qualification in business, finance, or a related field
