The Team:

A&M Tax offers a broad range of professional services which include tax compliance and advisory services covering transaction tax, international tax, funds taxation, transfer pricing, indirect tax, etc.

We are looking for an experienced BEPS Pillar Two Tax professional to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for working on projects for advisory and compliance with the OECD's BEPS Pillar Two guidelines including Global Anti-Base Erosion (GloBE) rules. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in international tax compliance and advisory, particularly in the context of Pillar Two regulations, and will be responsible for managing complex client engagements across multiple jurisdictions.

How you will Contribute:

  • Analyse and interpret international tax laws, OECD BEPS Pillar Two regulations, including the GloBE Rules, to assess their impact on the client's tax position.
  • Provide technical advisory support on the application of Pillar Two and broader international tax rules assisting clients in navigating interpretational issues in line with OECD and local guidance.
  • Support BEPS Pillar Two impact assessments and modelling, including entity classification, safe harbour assessments, effective tax rate (ETR) calculations, and jurisdictional topup tax analysis.
  • Assist in gathering, validating, and analysing relevant tax, accounting, and financial data required for Pillar Two calculations and compliance.
  • Support the preparation of technical memos, tax research notes, position papers, and other client deliverables on BEPS Pillar Two and broader international tax matters.
  • Conduct indepth research on OECD guidance, international tax legislation, administrative releases, and jurisdictionspecific rules and contribute to firm thought leadership such as internal alerts, articles, and client updates.
  • Assist in the development and delivery of tailored client presentations and training materials covering international tax and Pillar Two developments, jurisdictionspecific updates, technical interpretations, and strategic implications for multinational groups.
  • Liaise with clients and internal stakeholders to manage international tax and Pillar Two engagements effectively, including coordinating data requests, addressing technical queries, and providing regular project updates.
  • Work as part of a global, crossfunctional team, coordinating with colleagues across regions to deliver seamless international tax and Pillar Two support on multinational engagements
  • Assist in, including but not limited to, liaising with clients, and other A&M offices, for information required
  • Gain strong fundamentals in relevant regulatory laws for BEPS Pillar 2 and APAC tax.
  • Support other tax services lines, where applicable.
  • Participate and assist in preparing for client meetings, business development initiatives, proposals, pitches, etc.
  • Take ownership of assigned workstreams ensuring supervisors can timely review and provide constructive feedback of deliverables, and otherwise proactively responding to changes in workflow, and build upon the feedback received
  • Collaborate efficiently within a team by sharing duties, offering assistance, keeping communication channels open, and informing senior team members about the progress of tasks
  • Operating as part of a global team this position will require flexing the hours worked to accommodate global time zone.

Qualifications:


  • CA / CPA, Master's in Taxation, LLM, or MBA (Finance specialization)
  • At least 3-8 years of experience in international tax, with a strong focus on BEPS Pillar 2 and global tax compliance
  • In-depth knowledge of OECD tax guidelines and exposure to tax laws in multiple jurisdictions will be an advantage
  • Familiarity and practice experience in a Big Four accounting firm and / or other key APAC countries taxation (including centre of excellences and outsourcing centres) will be an advantage
  • Excellent communication (oral and written), analytical, drafting, presentation and interpretation skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Strong communication, project management, and business development skills
  • Strong sense of personal motivation as well as the ability to work with a team
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, multicultural and time-sensitive environment
