Senior Associate (Regulatory Compliance)
Career Level: Senior Associate
Qualification: Bachelor's Degree
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide consultancy advisory to a portfolio of clients in the financial services industry
- Prepare and submit regulatory filings and notifications
- Develop and review regulatory governance frameworks, registers, policies and procedures for financial institutions
- Perform reviews of business processes and controls to identify gaps and evaluate risks
- Liaise and correspond with regulatory authorities and external auditors
- Assist to monitor regulatory developments
- Perform ad-hoc projects, including but not limited to regulatory mock inspections, AML/CFT due diligence reviews
- Assist with other ad-hoc duties as required
Skills & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting/ finance, business, legal or a related field
- Minimum 3-5 years of relevant professional experience
- Experience in regulatory compliance with financial institutions, Big 4 audit firms or MAS will be an added advantage
- Knowledge of local MAS regulatory requirements for capital markets entities
- Proficiency in both English and Mandarin (spoken and written)
- Immediate or short notice is preferred
