Role Overview
We are seeking an analytics professional with a strong background in APLD (Anonymized Patient-Level Data) and
expertise in Field Force Effectiveness (FFE). The ideal candidate should have
hands-on experience in APLD data handling and analysis, and
practical project experience in at least one FFE domain area
Segmentation & Targeting (S&T), Sizing, Call Plan Alignment, IC or Promo Mix Optimization.
The candidate will play a key role in designing and executing analytical solutions that combine patient-level and field-force data to generate actionable business insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and analyze APLD datasets to identify patient journeys, treatment switches, and brand performance drivers.
- Integrate APLD, sales, and field activity data to support brand and field performance analytics.
- Design and implement Segmentation & Targeting frameworks based on physician potential, patient mix, and market dynamics.
- Support Field Force Sizing, Call Planning, and Alignment initiatives to optimize field deployment.
- Contribute to Promo Mix and resource optimization projects leveraging patient and HCP-level insights.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate brand strategies into actionable, data-driven recommendations.
- Partner with data engineering teams to manage large, complex datasets (sales, call activity, affiliations, claims, APLD).
- Prepare dashboards and visualization reports (Power BI / Tableau) for field and leadership teams.
- Document methodologies, maintain QC standards, and share best practices across teams.
- Stakeholder management abilities and storytelling skills
- Experience in working with pharma clients across US and Europe
What You Bring
- Education: Bachelor's or master's degree in data science, statistics, computer science, engineering, or a related field with a strong academic record.
- Experience: 2-5 years of experience in Field Force Excellence, particularly in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry, working with key datasets
- Skills:
- Solid understanding of pharma data sources Sales (IQVIA, internal), affiliations, call activity, and customer master data.
- Strong experience with SQL and cloud-based data processing environments such as AWS (Redshift, Athena, S3)
- Demonstrated ability to build data visualizations and communicate insights through tools like PowerBI, Tableau, Qlik, QuickSight, or similar.
- Strong analytical skills, with experience in analogue analysis
- Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex data science concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- A strong problem-solving mindset, with the ability to adapt and innovate in a dynamic consulting environment.
